Brennan
Well my HDD are going bad so I need to buy new ones but seeing that this is my third set I have been through I figured I would ask for peoples opinions on what HDD I should get. currently I have two WD 250GB together with RAID 0 but now they are going I would like to get four probably around 500GB each with a RAID 0+1 so I can have close to a TB of space. What do you think I should get?

will-wtf
WD raptor 10,000 rpm 1tb?
Sparda
You need 4 VelociRaptors to archive 1TB even in RAID 0. I'd recommend RAID 4 or 5 which requires 5 VelociRaptors.

That would be sick but ridiculously expensive ><'. 10,000rpm tho is hella fast so if your all out on gaming, Raptors aren't bad.
Sparda
I have two the original 40GB Raptors in RAID0. Stuff loads quick, very quick.
