Ever since my dad did system restore, iTunes didn't work anymore. I got this message (see below) so I decided to uninstall then reinstall. I still doesn't work. But it works on my virtual machine on this computer except it can't connect my ipod to vm.

You know where I can get mac os or do you mean the actual mac machine? I have no way of getting files over to the vm. Will burning on a cd get it over to vm? If I put the files onto a cd, will it read on the vm?

Why on Microft VM 2004, I cna't use usb's. I was wondering if that is normal or I can do something about it. I have Windows XP Pro installed on the vm.

No. It wasn't old. I meant old as in past computer. It had an Athlon 2ghz gig of ram 128mb graphics. I got the image from microsoft.com and burned it onto a dvd. And the computer i tried it on vm had p4 1.25 gig ram and 256mb graphics.

I tried installing Vista on a virtul machine yesterday. it didn't work. said it couldn't find something on d:/ even though i installed it off a cd. XP installed on vm but vista couldn't finish. wtf... CRAPPY. it installed on my old computer(the one that I broke) vista... looks cool but i couldn't use anything including internet so i said screw it. im going back to xp
