  1. I posted the same thing two posts before yours.
  2. This maybe? http://www.instructables.com/id/EB07UWNF35J1NJF/
  3. The XP install disk doesn't even recognize the partition it is installed on. I says it uses an unknown filesystem. I'm just going to do a clean install and hope like hell this doesn't happen again.
  4. Tried safemode as well. I can only access the drive from Linux and not even from another XP install.
  5. Is there anything I can do to ensure this doesn't happen again. It is now summer and power outages are inevitable. If the repair doesn't work I can't keep restoring it. The thing is, I've owned this computer for almost 3 years now and it hasn't happened before this.
  6. I've had this same problem with my iPod. When I plug it into my laptop it locks up. iTunes is installed on this computer so it should have a driver.
  7. Sorry. Thank you very much Sparda.
  8. How would I go about doing that?
  9. My computer must hate me. I was poking around the back of my computer and accidentally pulled out the power cord. Now windows refuses to boot. It gets to the part where it has the XP logo and looks like it's booting windows, then it just restarts. I know it is a software issue because I am typing this out on another installation of XP on a different partition. This is the third time this has happened in a month and a half. Any fixes besides a clean install? The file system on both partitions is NTFS.
  10. The recovery disk doesn't rely on it. The hard drive crashed, I put a new blank one in and it restored.
  11. Trust me, I don't want it. So can I delete it?
  12. There are only a couple (see screenie) When I viewed it in linux there were a whole bunch of files. I don't remember what they were tho.

    D Drive

On my computer I have this D drive. I'm pretty sure it's for a restore but I have NEVER used it. I have a restore DVD that I use instead. Could I delete everything on this partition and use it for extra storage or something?
  14. I was going to ask that.
  15. Just a bug I thought I'd report. If you click the forum link at the top of the page when you're in the Wiki (or the main page at least) it will take you to http://wiki.hak5.org/forums and it says 404 not found. It should be http://forums.hak5.org/ right? Just a bug to Darren or whoever manages the wiki.
  16. It was the first one and you say you didn't look hard??!!! Lazy.
  17. Here http://www.effectmatrix.com/total-video-converter maybe? Did you Google it?
  18. I can confirm that neither the one downloaded from your site or the one from iTunes syncs. EDIT: I mean 2x10 and I don't remember for 2x9
  19. Interesting but I don't see how it could be incorporated into this.
  20. Thanks. I'll try to find a different plan.
  21. So if I had the volume super low on my iPod it might work? I Googled it and only found this one thing but it didn't have instructionshttp://www.volunteerlabrat.com/default.htm...to=fmtrans.html. What if I created 2, one for right and one for left sound and outputted it to the same antenna? Could it work? I assume the quality would be bad. Does anybody know of some stereo ones?
  22. I am thinking of making this FM transmitter. http://www.uoguelph.ca/~antoon/circ/fmt1.htm. I was wondering if I could swap in a connection from a 3.5mm jack (ipod, mp3 player, computer) and put it where the microphone is? If it is possible would I only get mono instead of stero?
  23. Thanks but I'll pass on that. I found a website that told me which ones to delete. I reinstalled firefox and now my problem is solved. Thanks for the idea to remove the entries.
  24. There are a lot of entries...
