just as a suggestion... if u have the bandwith and serverspace and since darren is such a virtual box fan how about a VDI index service.?? virtual box images has one real problem.. the root pass has been changed and personaly i can figgure them out.

just wanted to post this somewere. this seamed teh best spot. for thoes poor soles who bricked there psp and didnt get a chance to make a pandora battery or magic memorystick. (my self included (actualy i bricked it before it was released)) pandorasales.com. i used them and got it with in a week. for a 512Mb (preinstalled with the reinstall for 3.88 m33 and sony 3.88 and an upgrade to 4.01 m33 and 1.50 add on.) its about $45 US with shipping included in that price. $35 without shipping.

(stupid stupid stupid stupid ) also im just doing this as a temp fix until my brother is finnished with his paper then iam going to reinstall windows. i know. ive done this for my office becaues some one was using busniess bandwidth for personal use and i needed to see who what when, ect. and i hated to do that but well you know. it took me forever to seach through the packets. well cain and able came in handy. (one perk was that i got a 1TB external hard drive out of the deal.) and im going to install ddwrt ASAP because i also think someone is stealing bandwidth from me. thanks for all the help.

the thing is they are capeiable of doing it most venders do hide the promiscuous mode for the HTML front end. so most of the time you have to telnet in and enable it manuly. but for some reason you cant even do that with the linksys firmware. telnet that it. i did do an nmap of the router to see what surveces are avaiable and it says that telnet is runnign but the port is closed. i also did look at linksys' site and it said that the router did support telnet but didnt say how to open the port so you can login. even my networking professer said that that the WRT54G does support telnet and was supprised that linksys didnt have any documentation on how to open the port. now im sure that some were out on the interwebs there is an answer. but im tring here first to see if any one has done it already. or atleast knows how. my brother needs the dell for school work (hes a senior in highschool this year and has alot of papers due most over 500 pages) and short of the easy way to get rid of a malware prog (for all the noobs who might be reading this that would be formating the harddrive and reinstalling the OS) which would take time out for my brother's work ( about 6 hours total form formating and reinstalling the os and all the programs he needs) and its his last year in highschool and im almost never home because of my work schedual ( im a home care nurse and i travle with my laptop allday and rarely get to see him except on the weekends.) not to mention im the computer geek of the neighborhood so even on the weekends i rarely get to rest. but still. if it can get this done i can use the firewall to block the port and he can get his reasurch done. thanks in advance and sorry about the "doubble" posting. i just realy wanted to answer the other guys post sepirately

yes. because i think one of my computers has some spyware or a virus that i cant find. my VS cantfind it either. and i know its a old computer (2001 dell 1.4 ghz intel P4) but its running even slower than usuial so i know that all routers (both IT professional and home users) can be sent in promiscuous mode so that all the traffic is braudcasted through out the network. ( i have a little networking education) but for the life of me i cant figgure out how to do it with this router.

hey i have a WRT54G router and i was tying to see if wireshark would work on it. i set it to promiscuous mode but was only getting packets from my laptop. any way i tryed to telnet in to the router to turn the promiscuous mode on in the router but it wouldn't accept a connection. i m using the official firmware version v8.00.0 and the web configuration is working. i was wondering if there was a way to enable telnet without putting a custom firmware on the router. any one. plz help.

no its not a typo theres whats all included, a new PC, books, lab manuals, tuition, programs, hardware training, and because they say that there MS certifyed they need to send the students to a testing center and they say normaly that it cousts $150 each time you test so thats included in the 28k. and its a complete MS cert. (vista, server 2k3, and systems management)

ive already went to an info session. the thing is i need some input on the courses. mainly because its a 6month course and it costs about $28k US. and i think this is a little excessive. but if the training is good and all i may take the training.

here's my problem every thing works (the Apache code the php code and all) but vlc isn't showing the video you can only hear the sound. anyone know where i went wrong??? i know I'm a little late with this one but i was bored today and Ive been wanting to do this and i had the time today. any help would be grate. also vlc does work if i use it manually also here's what I'm using php 5.2.2 Apache: 2.2.4 and vlc 0.8.6b

um hi guys. can some one post s tourtorial on how to launch a stream on a network??? heres the detailes. my cousin and i are now roomates. were using the clasic router( aka WRT54G) for our laptops. and we bouth ahve diffrent iptv shows and movies (legialy downloaded) and insted of takeing the time to transfer them and all we were wondering how to set up a stream so that we can bouth watch the movies in diffrent rooms. any help would be grate

i tryed this and it didn't mess up my computer but it still has the same interface for login and all as home. but when i goto sites or nmap my computer it comes up as pro.

ok i have a few questions. 1) has any one gottin this to work on 2.7 2) if so could you tell me in dumb person speak. and 3) if this doesnt get all 1.5 home brew, is there a way i can use this exploit to down grade to 1.5 or a homebrew compatiable firmware version? thanks in advance

first off ive tried to read the manual but its way over my head. second im actualy trying to see if there is a way to make it so that win98 is able to be debugged enough that it wont crash every 10 secs. lol. third the reason i want to use bochs is becaues its free. also the orignal reason i was going to use bochs is because i was going to put win98 on my psp but unfortionatly even though i bought a used one it had firmware version 2.5 on it and i couldnt do it. and as of version 2.01 they fixed the bug so that you cant downgrade.
