i agree with debianuser, i found with suse, GCC isnt in the standard install, though this i found was for suse 8, (was the default OS for novell, and coundlt be stuffed changing my novell configs over to the newer versions / updates). I cant fully say for sure, but im pretty sure that at GCC inst in the new suse's either (rumors is that its not inculded coz suse not developer friendly).
Head over to http://gcc.gnu.org/ and download the latest copy and install i supos would be the best thing to do. Or check ur Distro Disk.

Googled and confirmed, Suse dont supply GCC in there default install packages, and pretty much says
most "new" Linux users won't need a compiler -

Yup, as u can see my Xmas bonus from work was high and mighty this year, hmm could have somethink to do with reading the forums and not working all year...
PS. Nice new PC ^_^ luv the case, and as for being worried about the cooling, server cases are better for the thermal expansion, therefore the bigger the better :)

lol if the switch doesnt work u can always jummper Pin, jack the PC (using a jummper over were the switch connects to then removing it quickly will start the pc, and ur it off [sometimes]), though what every one has said is true, it doesnt matter what way it is connected, all it is, is a gate, pressing the button completes the wire.
As for the leds, connecting them the wrong way wont blow them, as long as its not for an extensive amount of time, connecting them into a fan connection on the other hand, has fun side effects :S

to be honest paypal doesnt such that much, there fee's can be a little anoying, and u cant use it for pr0n, but its widly accepted, security is high, easy to use.
Really the paypalsucks hate site is much like the i hate windows ones, ppl dont like it coz its widly used.

Okay so my C++ skills have never been my high point, well actualy its my C skills never did anythink that involved the use of C++...
So now that im on hollidays ive got a few weeks to my self, so was gonna try out a few C/C++ tuts see if i cant improve a little.
Now for the question, whats ur C/C++ worstation setup? in the way of editor and compiler (i say workstation coz not every one uses a standard package).
I ask this coz ive only used "Bloodshed Dev-C++", and "MS Visual C++" and have found that Bloodshed is very limiting in it compiling, in the way of most of the tutorials i read though dont work on it, but will on MS :S, so any one know of a friendly setup? perferably free :D though doesnt matter.

make a huge arse one of them like i mean the same width as ur flash project but huge lengh, this is so that u can make it scroll.
Once finished cut a section of the top, and stick it down the botton, (would be tons better if i had photoshop at work so i can show u), u do this so that if u were to print the file and then make a cylinder with the paper, both the ends would join and make a continuless loop.
Next open flash, make a new file, say the width of ur PS, but only 1/10 of the hight, place the PS image into Flash, and set it to scroll downwards, once it gets to the bottom to then loop.
(im sorry ill need to adjust this laster tonght when im home with a copy of PS, and flash, and the action script needed to do the looping)

sorry, but in Australia High Skool is College, and yup they still get after skools ^_^.
and sorry i wasnt atualy refering to u about saying firewall. more legasy, also Uni's and colleges here both use pretty much the same set ups for the server and server progs, the only difference is the college i went to had better security, supos thats caused by more attemps on there security :/

Running winXP SP2 and nothink, i have 4 Wireless profiles saved on this Box, and didnt pick up any, disabled firewall and still nada.

hmm i know that VNC is now picked up by a lot of virus scanners now because it is commonly used in payloads, though most will come up with it was a major threat but prompt for solution, we as somethink like sub7 is isntantly killed.
As for steghide, yeah i was blocked for that one to T_T, im thinking it has somethink to do with you being able to engolth malicios code into the files, since avast has picked me up on most of the binders that i use.

Best post more than 6 words :P, umm yeah, as ppl have said download either Apache and PHP for windows, give em a try and see what u can come up with, also for a biginer i and for a skool site, i suggest using other ppls scripts and applications, its best to have ur own site hacked not ur skools.

i would say ur skool isnt using a Firewall to block sites, thats not really a firewalls job (dont flam i know it can be but there are other programs better suited to the job), but yeah, i would say there using a proxy for there internet gateway, if ur limited to using certant sites then i suggest trying to find what proxy the teachers use, if u got a U3 ive got a nice prog to get the proxy details.
As for getting to play MMO's, u'll need to use another interal proxy that hasnt got the ports blocked, most skools use Packeteer (spelt wrong) to filter out given ports, such as MSN, FF, and Lime Wire. Most MMO's being as gay as they are will pull ur Porxy settings of IE (some also check FF), so go find out the teachers Proxy ^_^, then spend many of days in after skool detention, either coz u havnt handed in ur work or u were caught.

hmm lets see, through this years hall.
Best: would have to be my 19" LCD 4ms HD LG Flatron L1932P, so much brillience and clear picture ^_^, though i got it like a month ago when my new GFX card wouldnt work on my old monitor ^_^ the joys of 2X Sapphire Radeon X1800 XT set in crossfire.
Oh also im in luv with my new Oakley sunnies. the little things do count :)
Worst: hmm didnt get anythink bad, so i supos the money and gift vouchers would have to be, well the vouchers for the rip off shops, and the ones ill never visit :S
