  1. haha u can sink ur PC into cooking oil as is, and it will still run perfect, though doesnt quite keep it cool as the oil heats up <_< but yeah its still easly done, the oil has no Hydrogen so its not conductive so ur PC stay in one stick oily peice ^^

Oh as for the Fry pan, i have seen a USB hot plate for sale, though tis was 150$ AU

Edit: Just a warning, if u go with oil dont put ur fish in there...

2nd Edit: not the one i was looking at but does the same thing USB Hot Plate: http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2006/09/18/us...te_cooks_dinner

  2. haha (pls dont flame me) i prefer IE over firefox (pls dont flame me) but im a devil child been with microsoft since 3.1 (pls dont flame me) but when i tryed FF i couldt stand it + i like my FTP, in fact i pretty much use MS for every think all my programing is based in VB not C, i use IE, and Windows and my keyboard is MS ^^, the only thing i go against MS is with servers, then im with Netware ^^ (pls dont flame me) lol.

  3. hmm just wondering couldnt u cross the wires? to make the PC belive that a keyboard is present? ive seen it done b4 but not sure if they used a chip on the end or not. the used it to make the server boot with out a keyboard.

  4. just wondering if theres a way to block ports that can be used for IE's proxy i mean were im working we use several proxys and we want to stop several user groups from using a proxy, ie. proxy:8080 we want to stop the use of the port 8080 so they cant use the proxy.

Im preferably wanting to run the solution via a VB6 or VB net application, any help?

  5. ok well how about this is there any password cracker i can put on my flash drive?

If ur only gonna use it for pass cracking then if uve got the size, get ur hands on a small rainbow table (running the crap outta ur portible but works)

  6. T_T downloads are down, so just wondering if u want a mirror? ive got a server free atm and am happy to host small files (anythink under 50mg) if ur interested, please send me out an email to ste03_aus@hotmail.com and ill set u up FTP access. Server is 98% Uptime and hosted in Aus ^^

  7. depends on what ur working with, all exploits that ive made i only use Perl, but i prefer to work in python.

Though i find both limited (well im limited in my knoledge of them any way) so i tend to use C++ or if i have to VB

  8. haha

So how can i prevent these scriptkiddies from doing this to my box?...

easy, update AV definitions, scan, patch. do that and script kiddies cant do a thing. As mentioned it seems like hes just got shell access on u, if u dont know him then the chances of him virusing u should be minimal though i dont know ur intelect... so just patch, keep ur system up to date.

  9. lol i just owned my PC attacking SAM T_T though the good news is that it worked, as a guest account i got my root admin LM's then of my Laptop rainbowed it and all went fine, till i logged out and tryed to sign in again... So now with a fresh install of XP and not much else on my PC i try again!

  10. ^^ i use to use pwdump a while ago now, and found that pretty much every PC (well the ones of interest) had all ways of defending it, so i ended up programing my own XP CD Key Dump, its called MSXPKeyD (Microsoft XP Key Dump) and pretty much just dumps the CD Key and the running OS, i created it and put it on a Game CD so that when i went to LAN Partys and shared my Disks ppl ended up sending out there Keys to my Network address, this copy though dumps the data to the app directory. its pretty simple just run program, and was programed in VB6, and b4 u flame me it was done in VB6 becuase the C++ version i made kept flagging ZoneAlarm and Windows Firewall, this version made in VB6 runs perfectly stealth to the firewalls, Windows trust windows made ^^ if u want the source just say so and ill post it but yeah just so u know its not C++ just simply VB6.

MSXPKeyD can be downloaded for http://72.21.48.178/tools/MSXPKeyD.exe for now till i move it, mabye it can be used on switchblade ^^ lol.

  11. haha yeah i use to use Net Send at my old skool as well, the PC's were to cheap that they couldnt handle SP2 so the admin left them unpatched, so we all just sent msgs around the room, till we started to use batch files to loop send out the msgs to cause the victoms computer to hang, though funny enough does the same trick to the attacker ^^

The great days of the old school yard.

  12. yeah, though the only thing with deep freeze is that if the admin is wise enough, they would make the rooms image with a dummy account, IE one that has really no network access, then just ghost the labs with the same image, then by running Deep Freeze, even if u hack the Bios, or flash it <_< (yeah found a few that dont require passwords) then set to boot cds, then liveCD and on and on get the SAM file, but then ur left with a dummy admin account, gives u admin for the local, but reset and deep freeze kills all ur work, and cant kill deep freeze unless u know the pass (or the LiveCD work around), also who has slack teachers that dont notice this stuff? haha ive seen a kid get knocked of his chair by the teacher coz he accedently went into the bios, the teacher flatterned him ^^ (books were leaning on F12)

  13. Yay first post on Hak5 lol ^^

Well im gonna go out on a limb and persume sum things, first ur profile says ur location is Victoria, so ill be guessing u live in Aus, and i presume u have sum intelegance and that ur in High Skool, if im right then theres really not much u can actualy do the the skool PC's (not that i suggest that u do lol)

But DE&T's regulations are that all skools us Deep Freeze, ProgKill, Symantec, and Novell. With this ur not gonna be able to really do anythink to the system and as for the network Novell is rather strong, with out physical access to the servers ur not gonna be doing to much to them.

Though as for the box its self, Deep Freeze and Symantec wont allow u to virus them, so keyloggers and such are out. As for using Local Admin to gain NetAdmin rights, when it comes to Novell nothink will help u there.

What im trying to get at is that though security may not seem visible im sure that ur local Techs are watching lol, and having 'Fun' with government property is not very legal lol, though it is always fun to rotate the display just as u get off lol.
