theres a few new apps preinstalled, the software center has a different look and its got a featured, an a whats new section. theres also a history tab on the left. every thing seems to be organized better too.

upgrading as i type. i hear the software center is all reworked basically looking like the android market place with featured apps an now paid apps. even though 10.04 had a featured apps but only in one section. now that its not lucid linx an its maverick meerkat i wonder if there gonna make little meerkat stuff animals.

just got a memorex dual layer dvd burner of craigslist for $15. plan was to take it apart to use the diode to build a laser...but seeing as how this is a dual layer burner...making "back ups" of some xbox360 games comes to mind. decisions decisions.

i want to upgrade but i dont want to loose all my settings and what not. is there a way to upgrade with out losing anything?

yes they are very expensive. especially for a little project like i want to do, that i dont care to much about. its just for fun so i want to spend as little as possible. so far im at $5.99 with the LED flash light.

well IF you can put linux on there, the new ubuntu has touch screen support. so that would be cool. other then that... star wars > star trek also you might want to find out what kind of processing power that thing has.
