Its not just about the videos. The simulators are really helpful as well as well as the practice tests and being able to keep track of your scores to see your improvement. The thing about their tests are that you can take the same one several times, and not get the same questions either. They change it up each time from a large pool of questions, most similar, but also some curve balls on things not 100% in the video, some of which requires reading and searching their glossary. Thats another thing I forgot to mention, is they have a glossary of definitions too, so its information right their to supplement the videos that you can read through for reinforcement. I'm kicking myself for not buying the whole suite when I had the money, as its one of the best series I've come across, and I've tried everything from Train Signal, Lynda.com and CBT Nuggets, as well as some other books and such like Cram exam. Test Out was the most comprehensive and well thought out set I found.
yes i know. i got the whole package. not just the videos. its all the ISO's, so its just like if i were to purchase it.
Test Out was the most comprehensive and well thought out set I found.+1 to that. you know how almost all books will explain things but not explain why its like that.
for example: some one will explain that a cd burner burns cd's using a laser. the end. but testout would explain why and how the laser transfers data to the cd.
thats what i like about testout. cause thats a learning problem iv allways had. when ever things are explained i always ask myself why? testout tells me why.
thanks again for the recommendation.

ok i think i have it figured out.
1337 people will get the "L33T pack"
you have to have 10 points to get eligible.
the L33T pack seems to have a lanyard, a door knob hanger, mouse pad, shirt etc..
the top ten people with the most points will get
1st place to 3rd place Razer Gaming Keyboard of your choice.
4th to 6th place Razer Gaming Mouse of your choice.
7th to 10th place Razer Gaming Headset of your choice.
personally id rather have the 7th to 10th place prize. i already have a razer mouse. an my keyboard is alienware so it shits on razer. lol. but i have a shitty logitech headset. so id like to upgrade that. actually its not shitty its pretty nice but its old.

1337 people get the "1337" pack. and the top ten who has the most links used gets the grand prize.
i think thats how it goes.

I changed it without knowing what I was doing, I was hoping to change my second display but instead it changed my main display name. Now I cannot change it anymore, its saying that I don't have permissions to change.
i guess you really do need to consult the elders of the internet. or at least the elders of hak5.org
-
your infiltrator? why did you change it?
-
By the day do you know how to change the display, not your name "Okiwan" but your other display "One angry penguin".
thanks
you have to be granted super user privileges by the elders of the internet.
alternatively you can click on "my controls" then "edit profile information"
change "custom member title"

well me being a moderator on the forum has nothing to do with access to that section. you just need a password. an the password is given out to members whom they trust/respect/like.
like if it were here the password wouldnt be given out to some one who just joined an there first post is how to hack there school network.

Ummm, your suggestion sounds more like, you already have one set up in the shower, with the height to your waist. Careful bro, you mom might catch you one day. I wouldn't want to have one in the shower, with my mom catching me on the action.
why does your mom watch you in the shower?

the GUI looks like shit. an if running linux on it is like x942 said, i wouldnt buy it. if your able to apply android themes to make the GUI look better then it would be nice. but look at that keyboard! just terrible looking.
edit: NEVERMIND!!!! i guess thats an OS that was showing on the link you posted. i clicked overview, and it looks nice. yes i would buy it. esp that its totally opensource is a plus.
x942, what linux was your friend using on it? cause the new ubuntu 10.10 is designed for touch support.
