  1. I tried it and ls -la and this is what I got: root@OpenWrt:~# ls /tmp dhcp.leases log resolv.conf scp hostapd.conf network-config run spool root@OpenWrt:~# dir -ash: dir: not found root@OpenWrt:~# ls -la drwxrwxrwt 7 root root 240 Jan 1 02:00 . drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Jan 1 01:32 .. drwx------ 2 root root 60 Jan 1 00:55 .ssh drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 40 Jan 1 01:28 .webif -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jan 1 00:01 dhcp.leases -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 143 Jan 1 00:01 hostapd.conf drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 80 Jan 1 00:00 log -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 68 Jan 1 00:01 network-config -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jan 1 00:01 resolv.conf drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 100 Jan 1 01:28 run -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jan 1 01:37 scp drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 60 Jan 1 00:01 spool I tried copying the file over again and I am getting errors.
  2. Yeah, I corrected it after I posted but I still get the same error
  3. Well atleast i got the file copied over. machstorm@linux-rum0:~> scp /home/machstorm/Desktop/Pineapple/out.hex root@192.168.10.1:/temp root@192.168.10.1's password: out.hex 100% 4096 4.0KB/s 00:00 Now, I still have the same problem when I use the mtd -e "RedBoot config" write out.hex "RedBoot config" reboot. Message still says: " root@OpenWrt:~# mtd -e "RedBoot config" write out.hex "RedBoot config" Couldn't open image file: out.hex"
  4. Doh, now I know I need some sleep. I have been up way to long. Sorry guys Grrr! even with the change I still get the same error After SSH'ing back into it for a fourth time the command finally took
  5. root@OpenWrt:~# scp /home/machstorm/Pineapple/out.hex root@192.168.10.1:/temp Password: /home/machstorm/Pineapple/out.hex: No such file or directory root@OpenWrt:~# sh: turning off NDELAY mode I did reboot it after I used the mtd -e vmlinux.bin.l7 write openwrt-ar531x-2.4-vmlinux-CAMICIA.lzma vmlinux.bin.l7 reboot in step 9 Now it will not copy the file over when I am connected in SSH
  6. When I try to use the mtd -e "RedBoot config" write out.hex "RedBoot config" reboot command I get "/path (no this not the real path)/out.hex : no such directory" even though I know I copied it over in scp. I tried to copy it again using SCP, but it tells my that there is no such directory when I try to copy out.hex. I know that the path to file is correct.
  7. Sweet, I will post my other questions in another topic so I don't have to keep bumping this one
  8. Now I just need to figure out how to transfer out.hex and openwrt-ar531x-2.4-vmlinux-CAMICIA.lzma to /tmp/ using scp I tried it before and thats when I could not connect to my fon
  9. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you I have been up for so long I made a newbie mistake
  10. Thats the funny thing is when I use the ssh 192.168.10.1 it does just that. machstorm is the user on my Notebook that I am using to connect to the fon. So am I to assume that it is trying to find machstorm on the fon?
  11. I am logging on as a user. machstorm@linux-rum0:~> ssh 192.168.10.1 The authenticity of host '192.168.10.1 (192.168.10.1)' can't be established. RSA key fingerprint is 02:3b:67:ae:89:eb:52:9e:73:a9:a9:b5:d0:11:05:63. Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes Warning: Permanently added '192.168.10.1' (RSA) to the list of known hosts. machstorm@192.168.10.1's password: Permission denied, please try again. machstorm@192.168.10.1's password: Permission denied, please try again. machstorm@192.168.10.1's password: Permission denied (publickey, password). Nothing not even a blank pass will work.
  12. I managed to SSH to the Fon, but for some reason I could not connect to the fon after while. So I Reset the Fon and tried again and had problems with the ssh key so I cleared the key, However, now when I ssh it asks for a password and it rejects the password I set for it. I have tried reinstalling shh, but I still have the same issue. BTW, I am using OpenSuse with SecPanel
  13. To make a long story short I had to reset my Fon and try to reconnect through ssh I am told the key is bad and that I need to put the new key in /home/user/ .ssh_host1. How do I flush the old key and start anew? Never mind I got it
  14. I just received my Fon today and I was going to try to set it up with OpenSuse 11. Are there any pitfalls when using linux that I should know about that is Suse specific? Yes, much work to be had.
  15. My T61 can handle a sticker or two. These notebooks are built like tanks.
  16. I bought this over the summer. It's a T61, the last of its kind to be sold to the public with SLED. After getting fed up with SLED I put OpenSuse on it and have not had a problem since.
  17. Well all you have to do to keep them busy is to say nothing at all. As far as being a "good little German" I can be somewhat of a network Nazi when I want to be. Anyway that's a different topic all together. You know there are people out there saying "Oh, that's just a forged document" which to me is nothing but a bunch of sour grapes that don't do anyone any good.
  18. That would be so "Evil". Muwahahahahahaha! Dr. Evil: You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads! Now evidently my cycloptic colleague informs me that that cannot be done. Ah, would you remind me what I pay you people for, honestly? Throw me a bone here! What do we have?
  19. With that much money they could have their HD TV equipment and an Underground lair.
  20. Yah, I can attest to the thoroughness of the background check the government uses. For my InfoSec certificates I had to pay for most of them and they were pretty extensive. When I go to Tulsa University for my masters, that background check will take a year. From what I understand the Feds will talk to anybody that I have had contact with along with the usual.
  21. Yeah, I would have liked to see those documents that he was talking about when Obama attended that school in Indonesia. On the other hand I have to say that the Government would not over look something so serious, but who knows, As for me I have to look at both sides of the argument instead of attacking someone who has a different point of view with absolutes and crude language. I would like to see the birth certificate just to shut people up; "Look their it is now be quiet!"
  22. Don't take their criticism too seriously, especially if people are willing to call you a retard if you believe it. Do I believe it I would have to say no being 90% sure and leave the 10% out because sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. http://www.obamacrimes.com/index.php/news/...s-supreme-court
  23. It's a pretty tight schedule for me I take 13 credit hours in classes then I go to work full time and then I work on little side projects to keep my IT skills up to snuff like building IDS sensors, playing with Linux, and some HAK5 projects such as Hacking a FON. Then i get my 3 hours of sleep and start all over. BTW, DingleBerries: "Pencey was full of crooks. Quite a few guys came from these wealthy families, but it was full of crooks anyway. The more expensive a school is, the more crooks it has - I'm not kidding. The Catcher in the Rye" Holden Caulfield in Chapter 1 In case anyone is scratching their heads Will in Good Will Hunting was supposed to be based off of the character Holden Claufield. Normally I would let people figure this out, but the flamers have been getting really bad lately.
  24. Yes, they plan on kidnapping the worlds HD equipment and holding it for ransom. One... Hundred....Billion Dollars (Que dramatic music)
