felony_destined
so umm... I want to play my ps2 online and I dont have an online adapter? BUT! I do have a linksys WUSB54G... and my ps2 DOES have usb ports interesting enough, I'm wondering if theres anyway that I can play wirelessly? I'd imagine it would be hard though, because how would I use drivers for it?
moonlit
You'd need custom drivers or at the very least PS2 Linux to compile your own drivers for.
felony_destined
not only that, but I was thinking umm... would I need a hard drive in my PS2?
Famicoman
not only that, but I was thinking umm... would I need a hard drive in my PS2? yeah, for the custom drivers on linux
Sparda
And the hard drive requires that the network adapter be connected for it to work. So an all round failure of an idea there ;)

So an all round failure of an idea there ;) you know what... eff you! lol anyways, yeah... I dont think theres anyway I can get this one to pull off because lets say I do use a boot disc, where would I put the disc of the game that I wanna play? idk... it still seems definitely possible "in theory" but a hard one to pull off I guess
Famicoman
going to your local game store and dropping $15 doesn't sound so bad anymore, eh
proskater123
there are boot disk that allow you to switch disk and use a hard drive to boot games. but with the hard drive you have to use the network adapter. The disk are called swap disk and you can play pireted games with it, with out the mnod chip. there about 30 bucks online but there hard to get a hold of.
