Mac vs Pc - When will it end...Someone start picking on Linux already...j/k

Start with the first one and see some of their points as to why Mac is still better, even when there were more bugs in it during the year of 2007.

Then the source of all the drama:

I still think it's up to user preference and their knowledge of internet security that sets them apart from each other. While Mac's might have had more vulnerabilities, they aren't targetted as much as as Window uers, with thing slike Metasploit making every script kiddies wet dreams come true, we don't see anyone going crazy to get into Mac machines, and usually because bob down the street on his wireless conenction is probably running XP anyway. If he isn't, then he is probably smart enough to lock down his network to begin with. Am I implying that anyone not using XP is smarter than XP users. No, but being that XP has a larger user base there is a higher percentage of them who just take security for granted, as I am sure a lot of Mac and newly found GreenOS users are not even securing their machines any further than the default settings.

Case in point, how many people who bought Walmart's new Ubuntu PC's really knew that it wasn't windows? (http://blog.wired.com/gadgets/2007/10/200-everex-gree.html) I would gather to say that some, not all, but some of those people are going to be dissapointed this christmas when little Billy can't run last years Call of Duty or his favorite version of Unreal Tournament. Not to mention that they can't find their trusty Internet Explorer or Windows Media Player icons on the desktop and taskbar(granted a lot of users are familiar with what FireFox is these days). Plus, if they do not have kids who are probably mre familiar with computers than they are, who will teach them to use Linux?

I am sure there are going to be a few flames thrown my way. I have put on my flame retardant suit, fire exstinguisher in hand and have a full tank of gas in a running vehicle ready to make a run for it...Oh, and I have a flame thrower attached to the roof of my truck with lazer guided motion sensors attached, full 360 degree camera capabilities and 17inch flip out touch screen builtin to the dash....

You could go beyond that lol! But at that point it would just be better to devote each OS to a separate drive.
