.exe file into .jpg

There are a very limited amount of uses for what you asking for. You can hide other shit in a file by using that steghide or what ever it 's called. I have never tried it but if my understanding of what the program does is right then you can hide stuff in a .jpg file.

It's semi-possible. It's possible to make an image execute malicious code using certain exploits I won't describe here. As for embedding the exe in the jpg and still have it executable (ie: not steganography)? Not sure, don't think it's been done and if it has I haven't heard of it.

*sigh*

Find a vulnerability in the windows jpeg rendering library then you can do exactly what you want.

Does no one remember that windows rides the short bus?

I have a keylogger program that does this, it binds its installation package to any file you want (jpg in your case) and when the person u send the file to opens that file, the program is installed on their computer.

I think it needs to be an exe file to start with

j peg file has no executable areas. There is an exploit that would force executable data into the operating system when a jpeg was viewed, but that isn't the same as merging the files.

The fact of the matter is, if you name a file pron.jpg.exe, windows will show it was pron.jpg. The merger you've used will even change the icon so they might not even realize. Outlook express will probably warn about it, as might some others, but most people are idiots. So they double click and see the porn while the "whatever-the-hell" you're sending him runs in the background.

omg i get it now! thats the best exploit ever!

EDIT:

oy ya and is there a way to display it on a website so they see a picture or the file just exectues once they go to the site?

I would just like to point out almost everyone who's going to look to see if it's a jpeg to start with will have 'hide known extensions' un-checked

And thusly we have established that "hide known extensions" === "user is an idiot"

I have heard of such "EXE Binders", being used to combine animated greeting-card software and trojan horse servers. Wikipedia "File Binder". As far as a *.jpeg file being binded with an *.exe ... I do have to admit; I have downloaded such a  program. Anti-Virus caught it and I decided not to test it out. DLL Injections are cooler anyways.
