Guest
Can you install new wifi adapters on the wifi pineapple? I have a wifi adapter with the chipset rt2800usb I would like to use. Is this possible I would think it was considering it runs off of OPENWRT and openwrt has a package for it? Thanks!
chrizree
There's nothing really stopping you from doing that as I can see it. Either it's already there on the Mk7 or probably available using opkg update && opkg install <needed packages>. Just plug it in and see what happens. On the 1.1.0 beta and newer, you can do "opkg update && opkg install kmod-rt2800usb" to get the driver for that card. You can also just use the search function of the Package manager in the UI.
