Edward Kenworthy
Just received my Tetra. Powered by the provided PSU, Boots, connect to http://172.16.42.1:1471 Select update file, confirms file is good, says it's starting the update which will take 5-10 minutes. Sometimes it comes back to the update file selection page almost immediately, sometimes it take 10+ minutes. But it always comes back to the update file selection page. Tried with Firefox, Edge and IE. The blue led is permanently lit. As an aside: why is there no troubleshooting guide? I'm sure I can't be the first person this has happened to. Cap_Sig
What version of firmware are you using for the update? I have seen this error before. If it is a 2.6.x version, you may try updating to 2.5.4 first. Then do an initial setup. After all that is complete do a OTA or manual update to 2.6.x firmware (latest is 2.6.2) I would recommend the manual method but this is just preference. https://docs.hak5.org/hc/en-us/articles/360025819673-Manual-Firmware-Installation

This got mine working. I will try updating to the 2.6.x. Wish me luck.
Predator
Just my experience here... WiFi Pineapple TETRA draws pretty much juice, I had to connect an external micro-USB power adapter to UART to make my unit have a stable source of power. Not even the battery package could sustain it during setup so plug it in to a wall socket before trying to set it up is what I would recommend.
