  1. Hello. I have a cap file / hashcat format file. When I go to start hashcat using MD5 (0) it says hashes aren't found. If I set it to WPA/WPA2 (2500) it will start but it says it will take 257 days and 7 hours... I'm assuming this is because I am not using my gaming PC in which has a significantly better CPU and GPU then this laptop i'm currently on. So, my questions are, how do I get the OpenCL drivers for AMD and am I using MD5 or WPA/WPA2 on Hashcat? I keep seeing MD5 but really, it's a WPA/WPA2 access point security encryption. I tried to look up opencl drivers for AMD and I can't find it. If it helps, I have a AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor and a MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 192-bit HDMI/DP 6GB GDRR6 HDCP Support DirectX 12 Dual Fan VR Ready OC Graphics Card (GTX 1660 TI Gaming X 6G)
  2. What networking and pineAP settings did you have because I can't even get a handshake from any of my clients on my own router...
  3. i cant get my site survey to get handshakes...
  4. Okay, so just to make sure, on the Y cable, I have to have the ETH cord and the USB cord plugged into the wifi pineapple? Also, under networking tab where it shows Wifi Client Mode, it either says wlan1mon or wlan1 but when I start the PineAP, it will disconnect the Wifi Client Mode. If I go to Site Survey module then look at the Interfaces section it says> Interface:wlan0 and Monitor:wlan1mon. I usually just press Start Monitor as it is the only one in the drop menu. I can click on "Stop Monitor" and then go to drop menu and click wlan1 and click Start Monitor. It then shows back up with interface:wlan0 and Monitor:wlan1mon. I'm not seeing airdump-ng anywhere either. That must have been on the older versions. Does PineAP HAVE to be activated for this module? If not then, I can connect to wlan1 or wlan1mon under Networking tab and then do scans lol. I am new to all of this and i'm having a hard time finding any type of documentation for this. I even have an Associates degree in Applied Science for taking Cyber Security and Networking Systems. Still haven't got a damn clue haha.
  5. Okay. I will use wlan1. My devices are set on connect automatically except for the wifi pineapple. Not sure how to set that up to connect automatically as I am connected to my router with the pineapple.
  6. Alright so, I have a tower that is connected to my router via Ethernet cord. I have the Y cord plugged into my tower and the pineapple Tetra. I have only the ETH cord connected. I have a wifi adapter in which I plugged into the pineapple USB port. This will allow me to connect to the WiFi Client Mode as Wlan2 which will stay active when I start PineAP. One of my questions is, what Interface am I picking when using Site Survey? Generally, id pick Wlan2 but then the client mode will disconnect. I'll have to see if it allows me to pick Wlan1. Also, when I go to hit capture to my router, it won't let me connect to my router using my phone. It will say "Connecting", "Saved", and "Disabled" for some reason. So, I'm unsure if I'm doing something wrong.
  7. This is great! Is it just me, or is the DWall module not working for anyone else?
  8. Ah, I see. I tried to use site survey to gain a WPA handshake from my own devices on my router but it doesn't get one. The IV is sometimes at 129 and then I deauth and spikes it up to about 1200. I think it said my encryption is WPA PSK. Or WPA2 PSK. I'll check out what PMKID is.
  9. Oh. Well, if I have their password, can't I just connect to their access point and view everything from there? My IP address would be the same since I am technically using my own internet to run my wifi pineapple.
  10. Oh. How would I get the password? I'm new to this lol.
  11. What configuration will need to be done for this to work?
  12. UPDATE: A user named Cap_Sig said --So essentially, download the 2.5.4 firmware bin and use that. It will get you started. I am about to upgrade to the 2.6.x version. Hopefully it will work.
  13. Dude, thank you so much. This got mine working. I will try updating to the 2.6.x. Wish me luck.
  14. I am also having this issue. Have you found the solution yet Emmett?
