Famicoman
For those who don't know, there was an iptv show that came out about 3 years ago that... well... the site says it better: SeattleWireless TV brings you the latest information on Community, Corporate, and Home Wireless applications, hardware, security, and innovators in the field. Anyway, the episodes they are are only available in streams, .asx and .ram. You can download each stream and ope it up in notepad and get the address of each wmv in mms:// form. I belive one person said that they were able to wget it, but I have tried with various stream rippers, mms downloaders, wget tools, etc. with no such luck. So, I invite you to help me figure out how to download the episodes. If you were awesome, you would figure it out, and either upload it to google video, filefront, archive.org, or even torrent it to me. Since, for some reason, it doesn't work on my end. I would prefer files in the .wmv form as I think those are the easiest to procure, and a more universal format, also, I'm not sure you can even do anything with .rm . However, get what you can. Also, the torrent are dead due to the tracker dieing, and I have emailed the people inquiring about the episodes with no luck. Thanks if you can help. Famicoman
I changed it to save in h.26 format. It nows plays pretty smoothly. It just doesn't seem to have an extension. I'm trying to convert it over to DivX now overnight. Thanks for the help thus far.
SomeoneE1se
No problem glad to help just wondering why you're using Divx instead of Xvid

Huh? Download MPlayer, which will give you the mplayer command. Then just type the above in a command prompt window.
Famicoman
No problem glad to help just wondering why you're using Divx instead of Xvid 1. Google Video Doesn't Like XviD 2. Neither does my conversion software.
