Sparda Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 In the Mozilla Application Data directory, usualy some thing like C:Documents and settins<user name>Application DataMozilla, some thing like that, you should probably make a backup befor you delete it. Quote
VaKo Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 C:Documents And Settings<username>application dataMozila also nuke: C:documents and settingsAll Usersapplication datamozila (i may have dreamed this one up from no where, but i've found extensions in there after a firefox removal once)... but you'll loose your bookmarks unless you grab a copy of "bookmarks.html" from your profile. Remove all that crap, unistall firefox, maybe reboot, and reinstall from a fresh download.. Quote

Garda Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 You shouldn't reply to threads that are more than 6 years old. I disagree. Just because the original poster may not still be suffering from the problem, anyone searching for solutions to Firefox problems now has a bit more information. I also didn't know about the -p flag for dealing with profiles in Firefox. Will have to check if it still works. Quote

I do see where he was coming from, thread was old and dead, but I agree with answering this one, because it was a solution that was not given and is a valid response vs what we normally see like "Thanks, that helped" to a 5 year old thread that doesn't need bs comments. +1 to ~*L33T_NiNj4*~ for anwering it too..
