i am not familiar with the YARD stick so that is why i ask

official operating frequencies: 300-348 MHz, 391-464 MHz, and 782-928 MHz

unofficial operating frequencies: 281-361 MHz, 378-481 MHz, and 749-962 MHz

Based on that I think the answer is "probably". It depends on the modulation and other things they intend to employ with this HiLow thing, but what you're looking at right now is a press release for something they're working on but don't quite seem to have made anything for just yet. So you can get a YARD stick one and hope for the best, or wait for actual products to arrive, then see if people who already possess a YSO got it to work and if that makes you happy, get one.
