/etc/init.d/postgresql: No such file or directory

Getting this error when trying to start postgresql?

Even "service postgresql start" gives the error message:

Failed to start postgresql.service: Unit postgresql.service failed to load: No such file or directory.

Any help?

ls /etc/init.d/postgr*

It's probably got a version number attached to it.

Either way, the output of that command should clarify things.
