Harddrive
I find the wifi range is quite low....like it won't work outside the house. Is there a way to increase the power of wlan0?
Armaal
Plug a better antenna like a yagi or pannel with 10 dbi minalso you can boost your RF output (wlan0) but you will be (perhaps) illegal in the laws (FCC)

barry99705
Not The Pine own two "SMA" connectors so you can plug diffrent antennas from the market (pannel omni yagi etc ) To boost the RF you have simply to find a good "booster" (in physics power the gain ( dbi ) (also have a good sensibility) Pics from my desk (yes is already the night in France) (also sorry for my f*** english is so late) pictures removed to save space. 99.9% of any antennas you will find at your local electronics box store will be rp-sma, which won't work. Pretty sure that's what he was talking about.

metatron
You're better off with an omnidirectional antenna, unless you are trying to do point to point, there are quite a few good and cheap 2.4GHz clover leaf antennas on ebay, they will improve your range and as their circular polarized they are ideal in built up areas.
