Settings for 3G/4G Radios

Recommended Posts

I dont know if there is a topic for this already.

I have been working with T-Mobile Tech support and finally got the settings for the HUA-UMG366 Jet 2.0 USB Modem. Here ya go for anyone that needs it, or is on the same type of connection.

network.wan2=interface
network.wan2.ifname=ppp0
network.wan2.proto=3g
network.wan2.service=GSM
network.wan2.device=/dev/ttyUSB0
network.wan2.apn=epc.tmobile.com
network.wan2.username=GPRS
network.wan2.password=GPRS
network.wan2.defaultroute=1
network.wan2.ppp_redial=persist
network.wan2.peerdns=1
network.wan2.dns=8.8.8.8
network.wan2.keepalive=1
network.wan2.pppd_options=noauth

With these settings I am able to get about 15 Mbps out of the Pineapple 2 MK5!

@seb

I have been trying to confirm my email address with the wiki... and the emails are simply not going thru. Any ideas?

Looks like you already did - at least your account seems to be in the validated users group.

Best Regards,

Sebkinne
