  1. Can't do that... it will take too much away from power, and I really don't want holes in the box
  2. It is being used for business network penetration testing
  3. I will upload a new pic of the interior once I get all the wiring completed.
  4. To get back on the main topic. The screen has came in and I am working on installing it. @15.6in. this thing is nice! HD video as well... now i am kinda wishing for some more processing power. But either way, this is turning out to be a very nice project. I have taken the suggestion on removing the foam and using industrial velcro to hold the components in place. So far it works and there is much more usable space in the case. I am having a power wiring issue, but I guess i should not be doing power wiring without a diagram when I haven't slept for more than 24 hours...lol <-- need more caffeine! Keep the ideas coming, and They may just get put in. As far as the proxmark, I have decided not to put this in as it would take the project way out of scope. Perhaps for the next project. I am really curious as to what the Hak5 team has to say about this.
  5. yes, you could also use a tablet. just make sure you have the otg cable, and blacklist your devices ip address/mac address in the pineapple.
  6. Will do, I shall do that this weekend
  7. can we get some screenshots of the themes and options? This sounds very interesting.
  8. I was finally able to update the wiki with the information.
  9. it has a decent heatsink inside it, and does not get that hot... When I ran my test, I had the box closed outside in the sun with the system on and i had no overheating issues. BTW... on that day it was literally 104 deg. Fahrenheit outside.
  10. Ok, here's how it works: One switch turns on the pineapple and booster. One switch turns on the raspberry, USB hub, and sdr. The last switch turns on the screen. The pineapple is connected to the pi via cat5, and the air card via usb. The pi is connected to the keyboard via usb, the usb hub. The usb hub is connected to the 2 wifi cards (alfa and Tp-Link), sdr, and an extension for charging or connecting an additional device. The 2 wifi cards are used for running attacks on secured and unsecured active networks.
  11. I believe it is on the rtl. It's the one that clients connect to, ie. The karma antenna. Why all the questions about specifics?
  12. Yes, there are 2 wifi cards in the hakbox, an alfa and the tplink
  13. Totally awesome, I will be adding this to my Hackbox v1.0!
  14. When the box is at 100% complete, They will be for sale. I will need to verify with Darren and Seb @Hak5 to ensure the legality of selling these boxes. Darren, Seb. If you could chime in with your thoughts, comments, and whether or not you would like to review this system. Thanks!
  15. Ebay as well its not a true 8 booater... but based on range I would give it a solid 2w
  16. Space is an issue as the case was bought from s size specs of all the items. But I'll look and see if it can fit.
  17. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=271545456156&alt=web this is the 15.6 in screen
  18. In all it was about 650 for everything. I'll look at the full numbers later tonight
  19. I understand, i did a test with it today in 102 degree weather, System on, Case closed, and the system dis not over heat at all. It was warm and was running for about 5 hours in the sun.
  20. Really wish I could go to defcon... it's been on my bucket list for years.
  21. That case from walmart, is the exact case I got. The difference is that the one I got came with full foam inside. Not just seperations. And it only cost me about 20.00.
