Karma Issues

Recommended Posts

The Karma infusion is incorrectly reporting "No clients found." despite there actually being clients.

As you can see here:

There is a Windows 8.1 VM connected and some android phone. Though I am confused as to what all this information is. What is the MAC address to the left and what is the MAC address to the right of each IP and device name? What are the first numbers starting with "138858"? What are these "IP address" listings below? None of them appear to be actually clients connected to the device and I have no idea what "HW type", "Flags", "Mask", or "Device" means in this context.

Karma does not show any clients connected:

But the status infusion can:

What is the difference between the DHCP clients and the WiFi clients here?

Thanks.

The karma intelligence report only shows clients that have been karma'd / have connected to the WIFI Pineapple when karma is turned on.

As I can see on your first screenshot, you enabled karma, but there is nothing in the log.

That means, even though clients are connected, they haven't been connecting when Karma was on.

Karma Log - Refresh Log - Clear Log

Hi,In my KARMA Log i see that my laptop (don-meads-MBP *) is on the list.... is this supposed to be like this? or did i KARMA myself? and if i did how do i stop this?Also i blacklisted the mac address assoicated to (don-meads-MBP *) and it is still at the top of the log (shown below)1400940531 44:ad:d9:57:27:f1 172.16.42.225 RLDP *1400939982 f4:37:b7:76:ae:f8 172.16.42.132 iPhone 01:f4:37:b7:76:ae:f81400938899 e4:98:d6:55:e1:d8 172.16.42.216 Dons-iPhone 01:e4:98:d6:55:e1:d81400937340 00:26:4a:0e:58:18 172.16.42.182 don-meads-MBP *IP address HW type Flags HW address Mask Device172.16.42.225 0x1 0x2 44:ad:d9:57:27:f1 * br-lan172.16.42.216 0x1 0x2 e4:98:d6:55:e1:d8 * br-lan172.16.42.42 0x1 0x2 00:26:4a:0e:58:18 * br-lan

Hello !

Same problem here:

Karma Intelligence report doesn't show any clients even if it seems they are connected ( I can see it on the karma log)

Ssl strip doesn't show anything else but "sslstrip output_1400945447.log [May 24 2014 15:30:52]"

What i did was in KARMA put my MAC address on the blacklist and power off my Pineapple then power on and it seems to be working now.......

BUT as far as your sslstrip problem i am not sure I'm sorry. :(

I'll say it again for clarity:

This is a feature, not a bug.

Only clients connected to the access point with means of karma are shown in this list. If you have been connected beforehand or cleared the karma log, your devices will not show up in the Karma intelligence report.

If you want to see all clients connected via wlan0 to your WiFi Pineapple, execute "iw dev wlan0 station dump".
