digip
Just upgraded my CPU to the 6 core Phenom II (1090T). What software do you use (preferably free or open source) to benchmark your machines? I know there are tools out there, but most of them ones I've seen are not free. I want to do a full stress test and see how things stack up. http://www.cpu-world.com/benchmarks/ is a nice site for comparisons, but I don't see where they list what tools they test them with. So, I'm curious to see what you use, and maybe even some specs on your own results from these tools for comparison.

BattZ
This is a very popular one http://www.worldbench.com/ For the price of 249.99$ you can get a single license for a single computer.
Infiltrator
For the price of 249.99$ you can get a single license for a single computer. Can you recommend any opensource/freeware one?
BattZ
Quick google I found http://www.passmark.com/products/pt.htm Part of the http://www.cpubenchmark.net/ thing Though it has been some years since the last time I benchmarked anything, so I can't weigh in on how good anything is. digip
I did find some open source tools, but was mainly more for testing Enterprise or web server networking environments, and not CPU/GPU individual workstation stress testing benchmarks. If anyone is interested: http://www.opensourcetesting.org/performance.php I've seen people talk about the Crysis Benchmake tool, but as far as I could tell, its not made by the people who make Crysis itself nor listed on their website, and I'm a bit leery about downloading something I'm not sure is a legit tool or something else built in with it.
