Benj93
When I Plug My Cruzer 4gb Into My Pc.... It Should Automatically Run The U3 Software... But Instead It Pops Up With A Little Boxing Asking Wether I Want Open The Folder Or Run The Program.. So I Click On Run, And It Just Opens The Folder... Am I Missing A File Or Something..? Thanks

Benj93
Does an additional CD drive appear when you plug in the U3 drive? Yer It Comes Up With The Options To Autorun On Vista For Both The Main Part Of The Memory Stick (To The Right In The Pic) And The 'Cd Drive' On The Left... So I Click On Run U3 Software It Just Opens The Folder Viewer As Below... So What Do I Do..?!?!?! :(
Benj93
Does Anyone Know If I'm Missing A File...?????
Webhostbudd
No, its a security feature built into vista. It will always prompt you to run the autorun or not, unless you click the checkbox. If you didn't notice, its right there on the menu.
SomethingToChatWith
Yeah, select run u3. Than double click Launch U3. If you'd much prefer it auto-run either: Set up auto-run settings so that it does so Install the u3 auto-launcher program from u3 settings

Webhostbudd
You obviously fail to read what I said its a security feature built into vista. It will always prompt you to run the autorun or not, unless you click the checkbox.
SomethingToChatWith
Autorun files really only work like half the time. UAC might be an issue as suggested, but seeing how your having these problems in XP and Vista its your auto-run settings taking control of what actions to preform. If you install the auto-launcher from U3 settings I'm sure it'll start working as you want it to.
