blackdeath42
I am trying to install jasager on my new fon + 2201, I followed the instructions on the wiki, to the letter, but feirfunk ap51 keeps returnng 0.0.0.0 as the ip address and says that Telnet for Redboot is not Enabled. I assumed that i needed to asign it a static IP address, so i went into the fon web gui but when i entered the deafult username and password, the logon box just reappeared. Im very worried that ive somehow bricked it :( (oh and it has had no connection to the internet at all) please help! thanks
lopez1364
You did not install it correctly. Are you using the original version because that won't work.
lopez1364
This is what I used to get the Fonera+ to work for me. http://excid3.betaserver.org/fon-2201/open...n-the-fon-plus/

Make sure your PC is on the 192.168.1.0 subnet.

blackdeath42
It's still saying this "stderr: Telnet for RedBoot not enabled" I checked, my ip address was fine and i'm using the right files :s
excid3
It seems that some of the Fon+ are coming with Redboot disabled now. That will make things a bit harder. Serial cable will be the way to go from now on probably.
