Conor_M
As the title says, What VPN product do you use? I'm currently looking for something more configurable than what I am using now (Hamachi) but I couldn't get OpenVPN setup quite right. I might try it again as that was a while ago. OpenVPN is my choice. Set it up on an old Dell C600. Now I can monitor the home network and redirect all my http traffic through my home network. I had a little hiccup getting it running at first but my configs are here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=882298 The only issue I have is my ISP throttles my upload so the connection is fine for web surfing but streaming video or VNC sessions are a bit slow. Like everyone else, I like OpenVPN. I blogged about it once here. I originally tried setting up in Linux, but found that it is easier to set it up under Windows because of the routing. Check out my post, there is a link to a very intuitive how-to.
