  1. What features are you referring to?
  2. No, he is talking about using a live CD and altering the local permissions. If I were you USB, I wouldn't pursue this any further, but if you must, make yourself a copy of UBCD4WIN, boot your computer up to it and create an alternative administrator account using Sala Password Renew which is a part of UBCD4WIN. I would update my resume first though before trying anything though...
  3. If these are both Windows boxes, why not use RDP? There is no reason to use a 3rd party like VNC with Windows machines... Unless they are running XP Home edition.
  4. I drive a Yellow 2003 Dodge Neon SXT
  5. Friggin' awesome! Let me know how it turns out :-)
  6. Just curious, but what faults are you talking about? If you are talking about the shit brown color, I totally get it
  7. You could totally do this with K/X/Ubuntu and Remastersys. Remove all the BS you don't need (Games, Office programs, email clients, etc) and install only the tools you need (Kismet, Aircrack, airsnort, CoWPAtty, etc).
  8. Alright, report/presentation is complete. Got an A by the way. Teacher liked the idea of using Jasager over the classic MiTM because you could potentially pwn multiple users at once rather than the classic arp poisoning/MiTM with Cain or similar program where you can really only target one at a time. There will be some new visitors to the forum looking to hack their Fons now as everyone in the class wants to try this. Thanks for everyone's help!
  9. You what else is a good beer? I had it in Vancouver once (Actually many times during my stay) is Shaftesbury Cream Ale. It does the body good!
  10. I didn't live there thank God (No offense to Bahrainians), I did however camp out there once at Manai (sp) Plaza with the Marines for a few days, and then two more times a few years later my shipped pulled in for a port visit.
  11. Oh yeah, I've used Resource hacker to change the wording on the start button before. I never though of changing the pictures. Good idea, I'll have to revisit that.
  12. Oh yeah! I actually like Tooheys New (If its still around). Australian beer is friggin awesome.... that is except Fosters. I used to like Hahn Ice too back when "Ice" beers were all the rage.
  13. Strongbow! Back in my Navy days, I once got completely discombobulated off of strongbow while at the base bar in Bahrain. I don't think I have ever been so hung over the next day.
  14. Exactly. You can set a schedule to automate it. That's how I have it set up at my company. Its a friggin' life saver because somebody always accidentally deletes the wrong file.
  15. Yeah, that is basically the scenario I proposed in my paper. I would have a laptop with a Mobile wireless card, and I would bridge the internet connection between that and my connection with the Fon. Now with all the packets flowing through me, I can capture browser session traffic with Ferret from all of the unsuspecting hot spot suckas...errr... users then funnel those packets through Hamster and start "Sidejacking" their browsing sessions. Pure pwnage! I give my presentation tomorrow. I'll let you all know how I do.
  16. Was Shadow Copy enabled? If so, you may be able to restore from a previous version.
  17. Oh sweet and yummy beer! I personally like: Fat Tire Bass Ale Killians Irish Red Dosequis Amber ...etc Notice I didn't say Becks.... Sorry Hak5 :P
  18. Update: I decided to write my paper on using Jasager in conjunction with Sidejacking using Ferret and Hamster. I will let you all know how I do grade wise. If you are not familiar with Sidejacking, here is a cool Youtube video I found:
  19. Wow! That is friggin' awesome. Good work!
  20. Wow, harsh :P That's cool... Has anyone else tried to make one?
  21. LOL! Very James Bond! I like it!
  22. http://www.bauer-power.net (Shameless self promotion) http://forums.hak5.org http://www.asktheadmin.com http://www.digg.com http://www.shoutwire.com Those come to mind, the rest I just sort of Stumble Upon
  23. Hey guys, I just made a HAK5 GDM login screen for Linux. I uploaded it to Gnome-look here (HAK5 GDM Theme). Tell me what you think. Its only my second theme, so be gentle. I "borrowed" the background image from TestMAD in the Wallpaper section in the wiki.
