  1. Yes this application does have vista support. In the next few releases I plan on adding the ability to place custom isos like the ones mentioned here Hak5 Forum Post.
  2. I cant test it on a 64-bit operating system. But all it is...is the SanDisk version of the program, with some minor tweaks.
  3. I am still working on a new Universal Switchblade Installer/Updater for U3 enabled devices. An early alpha release is due out soon. What would be great is if the community, at their leisure, would make some icons or randumb graphics that could be added for more visual stimulation.
  4. I just recently got back into the whole "USB" hacks thing. Today I did a few test on the device, just to get a better understanding. The CD partition is handled at a hardware level, we all knew that, but what I found out may open the door to much more than a windows owning device. I took the Debian Business Card ISO and loaded it onto the CD partition of my drive... and would you know it.. It worked!! What does this mean? Well for one, we can still have other folders in the ISO, i.e. the windows payload, but we can also load in some other interesting things; A live Linux Distro RAM Dump Orphcrack ect... Maybe even make a larger payload? But the proof is in the pudding.
  5. Yes there is WOW. There is also talk of some very interesting exploits coming out for it as well.
  6. You might be able to copy their cookies. But cookies do expire, lol, so you may not have any luck in that aspect.
  7. I'm not sure if it's a good idea, but I just started messing around with the "USB" hacks again, and I have a new Updater/Loader for U3 devices. The ISO's will be located on a server and people will run this just like they run the UPinstaller from SanDisk but instead of the SanDisk ISO you will now get a payload of your choice. Maybe I could release it during PhreakNIC. Its still EARLY alpha, but suggestions?
  8. I'm not sure exactly how you structured you talk but maybe the chronological progression. From BBS to Newgroups, ect. Or I may have just misunderstood what you meant. I'm guessing your talking more along the lines of forums and social news sites, slashDOT. Either way I'm interested in hearing your talk.
  9. Im not sure what the door cost is for this event but it shouldn't be too much. This will be my first "con" in essence so I thought I would get in on the ground floor. I am actually pretty excited, rootwarez seems to be something I would be good at, but because of my lack of a test system I don't think i will participate in it. Anyways, I would definitely try to show up, maybe find an odd jobs on CraigsList or pawn some jewelry, bling bling is so 2003 anyways. It is at the Day's Inn hotel in Nashville in case any one missed it. Also, If you live in Murfreesboro and are heading up there PLEASE PM me and let me know. I just moved here and I havent really made my way around the state yet, so hopefully mapquest will work out.
  10. As long as i have ftp access to it, it really doesnt matter. Its hard for me atm because i am in the dorms and my access to open ports is limited. I tried a few free host, but they would not allow iso files or they just sucked my balls. I tried my college webspace, but the servers here, mtsu, suck ass and are always down or broken...
  11. Thats great. When and if anyone volunteers a server I can release a P.O.C and move on to the final installer.
  12. Im kind of upset im not going to be there saturday, i think id enjoy darrens talk. But my grandparents insist on doing my laundry during the weekend, so i'll be there. Maybe some one can record the talk and throw it up on hak5?
  13. Yep. Some where the url is defined like this XXX.XXXXXXXXXX.XXX So you cant do local host because there has to be a "." before the domain, if that makes any sense. If any one has a host I can use for a min please skype me woodall.christopher
  14. you can change the U3 to www and it will ping.. its when i change the sandisk site i run into issues EDIT OK i got it.. We just need a server now.. Its still alpha though
  15. Ive managed to change on of the URLS in the code, BUT its not want I thought it would be.. In hex I can edit it and it looks right, but when i decompile it its fucking boogers. Ill keep playing around though
  16. I have found the URL in both HEX and IDA Pro.. However Im still not sure how to use IDA Pro to edit these things.
  17. I will send you an email when i am done.. This is my first attempt a reverse engineering so im going to test it a few times before i screw everyones shit up. EDIT I cant save the exe after ive made changes.. If anyone elese would like to help i can point them in the right direction. lol sorry..

  19. I just made a break threw.. I can host an ISO on any server now and we can all update from a repo.. We need a repository. after i get a good one ill release the app.
  20. Who, if anyone, is going to PhreakNIC 12? Im volunteering from 2-3 on friday but after that there are a few pretty good talks lined up; R00tW4rz Cartography Contest Russell Butturini - Using the Hak5 U3 Switchblade as an Incident Response and Forensics Tool Scavenger Hunt Lee Baird /John Skinner- JAIL - Get your iPhone out, and try NOT to get yourself in! If your a hak5er then it'd be great to do a tiny meet up
  21. I still think its funny. Its a piece of software, reinstall it, rebuild it..
  22. Follow me step by step as I give you the loooong way of installing iso's to a U3 capable device. Step 1. Download the SanDisk LPInstaller.exe and your favorite U3 payload. Step 2. Download MoWes Portable Web server. The only required package is Apache. Step 3. Edit your host file, "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\", so it looks like this like this: 127.0.0.1 localhost u3.sandisk.com Step 4. Install Mowes Step 5. Go to the MoWeS install folder and in the "/www/" directory create this folder structurer "/download/apps/lpinstaller/isofiles/" Step 6. Rename your PAYLOAD.ISO to cruzer-autorun.iso and place it in the last folder. Step 7. Run LPInstaller.exe Step 8. None of the data on the flash partition will not be touched. Step 9. Eject your flash drive.. 1...2...3...plug it back in. Step 10 Youre done Step 11 ????? Step 12 Profit Here is the proof
  23. This is from Gonzor. I will be taking it apart for the next few days in order to make a newer, somewhat better version. Thank you. http://www.sendspace.com/file/w8c116
