So you guys are still alive after all? I have already formed a preliminary podcast team because it seems nobody is doing a good Linux video podcast regularly. Hell -- the most regular mentions of Linux in a video podcast are on DL.TV -- and only because I set an email begging.. PLEADING for Linux .. and suggesting they use OpenSuSe. They did, and Robert Heron (aka the only person on the PLANET excited about Vista) LOVED it... and he talks about Linux (in passing) almost every show.

OpenSuSe installs a firewall by default and provides a nice easy GUI to use to tweak it through YaST. I'm sure other newb distros such as Ubuntu and Fedora do similar things.

Well after burning about 10 minutes trying various combinations of all things Hak.5, I could find no Hak.5 group on Last.FM ... so I created one. Feel free to join it. Alienware computers are like Oakley sunglasses... you're paying through the nose for the name. The premium isn't as bad as Apple, but still pretty high. You can build a machine as fast or faster than an Alienware for 100's less.
