  1. or just use the single netcat and escalate that to a meterpreter session and pivot and then get multiple sessions? but sticking in a duck and pwning is so much faster than pivoting lol. but thats another option, biggest step is getting your foot in the door and move around from there.
  2. Im in, send me the code, ill see if I can add anything too it.
  3. no, your pretty much wrong, take your dictionary attack for one word, say the word is 8 characters long, so 8^3 (3 words) = 512, now X that by the amount of words in the dictionary, as well as some commonly words people dont spell right, possibly capitalization, and perhaps even just 1 special character, your talking billions, billions of trys, you throw in 1 special character and your dictionary attack goes out the window, and you have to account for spaces, by the time its cracked you'll either be dead, account will be closed, or you will have changed the password, even if you have a 50GPU cluster, its still going to be pointless, there are better ways to get around it at that point.
  4. im thinking about taking apart and old U3 drive and fitting it in that, and solder some leads from the micro sd reader into a micro sd to usb port on the other end, so one end will run the payload and the other end will have a usb port for programming and compiling, this'll just make it easier to carry around and not need to take it apart to access the micro sd card
  5. Deleted comment, (you posted right before I did and it was redundant) New comment: honestly I would run a bootable anti virus cd
  6. you need to kill the process, or figure out when it was installed and uninstall it it, im not fomiliar with the program but you might need to remove it from start up to, if that doesn't work, safemode and kill it. if nothing else works reinstall your anti virus.
  7. i was given an old laptop for helping some oldish lady while working at radioshack (i had to re solder her car key fob because the soldering job on those suck) and she had left her resume with ssn as well as a excel sheet with her banking account and routing number on it..... hard drive whipe, i cant beleive what people leave on their computers. if you must, put it on a flash drive, and keep it in a safe, where you would normaly keep such stuff. and then when your done with it, hit it with a hammer, run it over with a car, have your dog eat it, idk something people come on, i could have just stole that persons life.
  8. there is a way to set it up and emulate the keyboard and then it sets itself as a COM port i believe and then it can copy over files. watch the video i posted, its very informative.
  9. this video will show the difference. im assuming they'll be selling the teensy ++ pre loaded with some code, a soldered on micro sd slot, and a 16gb micro sd card, and possibly a duck! if you wanted to spend the time to solder and program it then you would only be paying about 50-60 bucks and then maybe a few hours of codeing and soldering, maybe only an hour depending on how well you are at it. plus its their business so they have to make some money, even if its a little. im going to buy one. save myself the head ache of messing up the hardware. i doubt its going to be just a teensy with a duck lol.
  10. Ill be at derbycon next week and i asked darren via email if they will be for sale there and he said yes. ill ask him what the difference is when i get there.
  11. Im going! Going to order my ticket and hotel room tonight, ill be staying at the days in (if there's any rooms left) cuz im a cheep ass college student, and ill be leaving Thursday night at 10pm (I have class from 1-10pm) and I should be there around 4am.
  12. Im trying to go, I'm getting my work and school schedule figured out, I'd miss most of friday probably. and its only a 6 hour drive away from me and i found a days in hotel for $48 bucks a night and about $70 bucks for gas, and who needs food? ill probably pack a cooler lol... Ill try to be there, It'll be my first con. I'll let ya guys know.
  13. you haven't captured nearly enough IV's, you need to check on the aircrack website if your wireless card is capable of packet injection and going into monitor mode. keep on reading, your getting closeish
  14. i typically think 12000 IVs is enough to start cracking, that's gotten me the best time between sniffing and cracking and if the AP is close enough usually 2 minutes will do the trick. p.s. 2WIRE routers ARE TERRIBLE
  15. 256gb usb 3.0 raid flash drives :P oh and san disk cruzers are good too, 22 bucks at a radio shack gets you a 16gb one, don't buy the service plan, its bull shit.
  16. Soldierx has stopped their work on mri. I have 5.5 which is the newest version I beleive. Soldierx stopped at 5.1. (It calls home though so be careful where you useor it, unless its the 5.1 cracked version which doesnt self update anymore) i sold laptops at best buy for a while last winter and one of the guys at geek squad handed me one. It has disk cloning and some other little new things. The 5.1 version doesn't and no longer updates itself before a scan.
  17. ya i'm starting out with my ccna/ccnp, working through my associates in computer science, then taking my cissp, some offensive security classes, possibly ceh, and then finishing off my bachelors in computer science. im not sure which aspect of computer security i want to go into, but i know i want to go into computer security... im figuring ill just figure it out as i go one step at a time.
  18. on my 32gb sandisk U3 i have.. -katana with bt5 upgrade (and all the portable apps you get + like open office and daphne and stuff like that) -switchblade -arduino, basic (the micro controller), C++, python, and java programers and what not -some of the the more common rainbow tables for WPA -about 2 gigs of music -the movie wrist cutters (BEST MOVIE EVER) -some school papers -a bunch of ISO's including the MRI crack -a resume (don't worry i keep my most important info blanked out) -some random guide i put together: a quick ubertooth set up, how to crack wep/wpa (oldish), some basic stuff like that just for reference) -SIW (look for it on Mubix's site, thats where i found it) -cCleaner -droid x roms and reference guides for flashing -kompozer
  19. i still need an invite, PM me for my email address
  20. watch some older hak5 episodes... they cover some basics, and the hak tips are great for learning. besides that, google what you want to do, if you dont under stand it, go smaller, and smaller, then work your way up. understand networking fundamentals first. and most of all LEARN LINUX
  21. im part of said younger generations and people can't get me away from computer books or forums, I can't ever get enough of it, I want to know it all lol.
  22. lol its a love hate relation ship with you isn't it Mr-Protocol? but i do have to agree, when it comes down to things here you cant beg. you can ask for hints and suggestions to get pointed in the right direction, but after all the thing about hacking is figuring things out for yourself, its what drives most of us, learning and creating new things. if something hasn't been created you cant just ask someone to make it for you, nothing in the world would get done this way lol. on second note. I've made a topic about this before, try working it on android. learn Java, android app's are based off java (correct me if im wrong) and the deep down OS of android is linux, and i believe it runs a type of virtual machine for its up front interface. Try learning Java and making some apps to get started, there are a ton of tutorials out there, google is your best friend. and i would again recommend android over iphone because there is much more user developers on that platform as well as the ease of root access and the 15 wifi tether apps already available, it would probably be easiest to modify one of those.
  23. thats not a bad idea, right now im building an apache server off of the old laptop i mentioned earlier, didn't realize how much ubuntu changed from 10.(what ever) to 11.04, i need to do an update on my media server, makes a nice look with the bigger buttons on the side for tv viewing
  24. Ya my mediaserver made my electric bill go up $15 a month, just gotta figure out what works best for you
  25. Ya Id go with the webserver, domains are dirt cheep, or even just a media server, boxee + hulu and a cheep capture card (dazzle is the one I use) and you've got youself a bad ass "on demand"/dvr... I just got my hands on a 1.6ghz single core laptop with a 50gb drive and I believe 746mb of ram. Im going to attemp to run a small file server or small website off it. Hopefully it doesn't crash to much lol
