I would definitely put Cat6 jacks in every bedroom and put WAPs in the Living/Family/Bathrooms. I plan to do that to my basement before I finish it.

I want to bring my computer (HP with XP SP2) to my school and get on the network, but I want to be able to access my NAS on the school network, and they require a username and password to do that. Now I already know them, but I don't know how to connect to the network since when you boot the computer, it asks for the username and password then. So where would I go to add that new connection?

Hehe thanks ^_^ On topic though, Garda's right... if you took the dynamo bicycle iPod charger idea would work... if you add some sprockets and a handle you have a hand-powered iPod charger... it's renewable and it's environmentally friendly (might make your arm ache though...) ;) No worse than his arm ache when he does other things... I kid, I kid...but not really.

Yeah, where's metatron to the rescue?

I'm on a laptop and something wasn't right, so I reformatted and reinstalled Windows with the reinstall disk HP gave me. Then something didn't feel right again, so I tried to reformat and reinstall with the same disk, but it doesn't work! If I run it when I'm in Windows it runs fine, but if I try to boot off of it, it doesn't work, so what's going on?
