Well with Norton, I've caught about 10 viruses yet and I had it since septmeber so it's maybe not a lot but still less viruses in my computer

Should we invent some sort of clan of all Hak5 users. If yes, what is the clan's tag?

I had Mcafee but we switched to norton, is it a good choice or is there better security?

Ok I've been looking at a gaming computer for a long time and each time i was asking the question "should i get it custom built or buy it as a gamers PC ?" the answers goes on both side so now im asking you. Which is the best PC or custom?

For example: {03A9E526-2B99-4AF2-BC50-D26A2CFB516D}\{F317E784-F31C-4F26-A610-2D7BD89FEC5F}, youll know if its the right folder because youll find the bf2 cd key checker in it. 7. Double click BF2CDKeyCheck.exe. 8. You won't notice anything at this point. 9. Now your CD-KEY troubles should be over.

well whenever i install a game, i always make a shortcut on my desktop so by now i have a bunch of folders but i placed them in different folders

Well the only ATI card on your budget would be between the 4050, the 4070 or if you really want to spend a lot of money on your graphics card, it would be the 4070x2 2G for about 550$

well I can't run COD: WOW right now so I'm not so sure how it is but my friend told me it wasn't so much fun cuz it gets a bit annoying by the end of the game and apparently the multilayer isin't so much fun. The only reason I think I would buy it is for the co-op or for my history class.

well i know that Windows 7 is coming out during summer or before summer so like im working crazy during summer, I'll be able to get a hi-tech computer by the end of summer.

well the thing is that i know that i want a ATI HD 4050 1g graphics card so if this can help u to know were im putting my money and i was checvking the 4870x2 until i found out that it was like 500$. Theres what i`ve got until now: -500g SATA -4g memory -one (or two) ATI HD 4870 graphics card if you have any ideas of motherboards , cases, disc reader or anything that would be very nice Still thanks for the help.

Well right now I'm really confused because I don't know what company I should get, the only thing I know is that I'm getting a quad-core and right now I'm checking the forums and it's hard to find because people are saying AMD is better for gaming but intel isn't. So it's hard to choose which one to choose

Thx guys for the tips, I actually forgot to tell you that I`m short on money right now but I think that it`s gonna be woth waiting for it and yeah i didn`t check the prices before and it`s a big rip off. My friend who suggested me the guy told me that he was getting his parts from the U.S so that`s maybe why it`s so expensive (with the borders). So yeah I`m looking for a gamer PC so I was wondering if any of you guys live in Canada (in Ottawa) maybe you could suggest me stores (not Future Shop or Best Buy) to buy my parts because I don`t really want to deal with the U.S and Canadian bordders. Hey guys, I don't know if you all got the same problem but each time that I've installed BF2 then BF2: SF, whenever I want to play BF2: SF, theres a message saying "mods/bf2/shaders/lightning.fx not found!!! _DO_ check your working directory, _AND_ sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP (really!)". Please help me, I really want to play this game.

URDead2 I have a question for you, I've seen your bf2 profile on BF2s.com and I saw that u have special forces so i don't know if you could help me. Each time that I want to start my game, there's always a message about the shader file missing (or something like that), I don't know if you got it but I've checked many sites and the tricks didn't work really much so i was wondering if you were able to help me or if you had the same problem before or if you never had the problem.
