  1. cool videos. but what the shit, that ride doesn't go upside down?

i have a video from the battering ram, http://rapidshare.com/files/267880507/hak5...t_side.AVI.html

but i can't wait for the final edit with all of the camera angles.

This file is neither allocated to a Premium Account, or a Collector's Account, and can therefore only be downloaded 10 times.

    This limit is reached.

To download this file, the uploader either needs to transfer this file into his/her Collector's Account, or upload the file again. The file can later be moved to a Collector's Account. The uploader just needs to click the delete link of the file to get further information.

  2. i like how epic boobs were always kept in frame, even if it was at the cost of cutting off the top of the head.

man you're not kidding. i dunno about you guys, but i absolutely didn't mind ;)

anyway, pretty good episode...love that part thrown in "well that didn't work out so well now did it"

  3. Considering the login runs over http and not https ...

yeah, it'd be nice if https was used. if i remember right, i thought i read somewhere that darren was prob going to implement that... *shrug*

  4. Mine on here was a name... I don't use it for anything else. I always use crappy passwords for forums, as I tend to visit them from more than one location - often public. I know there are a few good solutions out there, I'm just very lazy. I don't even know what my demonoid account password is, it's the one that was sent to me. I keep meaning to change it.

yup. same here about using crappy pw's for forums etc.. hell, usually when i need a random pw for places like these i just look around me & whatever i see first, i enter that :P

didn't care to change it until i saw that list users/pw's publicized all over the web

  5. heh, pretty funny stuff guys. hmm...i don't even know where to begin with the stories i've had over the years.

all i can say is...damn the elevator rides up to my floor every morning & throughout the day!

them: "oh hey, you're one of the computer guys... i've got this problem with my computer blah blah blah.. "

me: "ok, have you called help desk yet to see if they can help"

them: "well no,(pause)it's..happening to my home computer"

    me: long sighhh

  6. TBH after I am a CCNA for a few years I want to study up for the CCNP.

And I'll tell you like this... In the CCNA courses, your gonna get pissed, because everytime you see something mentioned that looks interesting and useful, it says "We will not focus on this subject in this curriculum. This subject is studied more in depth in the CCNP courses"

hah. yeah, i remember that. 3 & 4 were pretty fun. like with a lot of IT related fields, you just kinda have to have the knack for it when it comes to networking. anyone can remember facts etc, but you need to have that common sense when it comes to it, ya know..

  7. my two cents...

if you're in college for networking, take your certs asap after your classes. my biggest regret was not taking several of 'em right after it was fresh on my mind (sec+, ccna, etc). i'm now having to refresh my memory myself, w/o the help of labs/classes, to get the certs i want & need. anyway, imo, like most have said...taking classes is your best bet, if possible.
