Just go out and start setting up some home networks. Go out and buy a Cisco 851W it has the full IOS. I think you can get one for like $300. If you really want to get good get a switch, and a patch panel. Learn how to use and install. ;)

Lmao! I was trying to look at trailers on youtube for halo 3 ODST and I kept gettting rick rolled :@! Now I went and downloaded the song on my phone so I can rick roll everyone else.

I have a Acer Aspire One with a Atheros chipset. BT seems to work just fine out of the box. The funny thing is, is that Ubuntu has problems with the Aspire One connecting wireless! It drove me nuts until I found a fix. Then Ubuntu updated to a new kernel and totally messed up my wireless. So for now...I'm waiting for Ubuntu 9.04.

I agree, personally I love grub as it has been very stable on the systems I use. If they could use that instead of lilo out-of-the-box then I would be happy. Oh, and maybe some UPDATES! I didn't like the update system. :P EDIT: Lol, I keep thinking thats a real bug on my screen! Every now and then I have nats fly to my screen at night. I don't know where they come from, my house is CLEAN!!!! *damn NATS!!!

Ya that is one of my problems to. Its only because the stuff I want is very specific (All I want is expensive tech stuff)and no one in my family is technical at all. So if they get something incompatible or completely off of what I wanted it is going to suck and no one will be happy.... :(

Hey fellow Hak5 fans, Adobe has released some new products which are the CS4 ones. I love Fireworks, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver. Anyway, I made this post to see the experiences of some of the other techies. So post, good or bad I would like to hear what you have to think about it. I loved Adobe products when it was still Macromedia. Please also feel free to let us know if there are any good extensions (prefer free) that you know of for any of the products. ;) Well, go make some hak5 wallpapers, donate, and watch the show. It is FREE TO PLAY and there are some stuff you CAN buy with money but it does not affect the gameplay! Actually there is only knifes and 1 pistol you can buy(with money) the rest is FREE but you have to earn money buy killing people. "Please check the game thoroughly BEFORE YOU POST!"

Well if you have a graphics card (built in or not) within this century with descent RAM and adjust the settings (which are adjustable if you LOOK) the game will play on low end machines just fine.

Hey, I thought I would throw out a new game that I found on the internet. This is a awesome FPS with good graphics and great game play for high and low-end machines. Best of all ITS FREE! As far as I know it only supports Windows 2000 and up, sorry MAC users. Its a game by Nexon and you can download the game at http://combatarms.nexon.net/ so check it out and post back to let us know what you think about the game or if you have any other suggestions about a good FREE FPS!
