  1. After sleeping on it, I realized that my Fon was not in the 1000 series. Not sure why I was thinking that, but that is what I was referring to as an original Fon. Question answered after a good sleep. Now to find a way around sending ^C to the fon w/o a serial cable through telnet. =/ Probably has been answered, but will this work on the Original Fon's? This is exactly what I was looking for for my Fon, when the project started anyways. I had started to do some work on getting these packages to work with openwrt, but time was not on my side.
  2. They were special video clips, though. Probably that of home movie nature. Or not...
  3. Wire, you wouldn't happen to have one would you? I would be some kind of jealous if you did. By the looks of the pic I'm guessing not, but if you do. omg envy big time.
  4. That would be bad, Especially if hooked to a fon. I seriously doubt a lack of volts is the problem here. Also, I'm guessing that 10 volts to the lil guy wouldn't do him much good.

    Nokia N810

    No suggestions? =/ ( Bump as well ) :P
  6. I've been using it without problems just seemed as if 6.7 volts was a bit too much. I guess it obviously isn't considering it's been working. It's listed as a 6V battery so I wondered if the extra voltage was anything to worry about. Thanks for help. =D

    Nokia N810

I did see the open-source drivers in devel. Nothing that I could find, however, had been updated since early September. If anyone has any other suggestions on a mobile wifi pen testing tool on the cheap that would be great as well. I really love the N810's design, though, so I suppose I'm a bit partial. Not looking a laptop or netbook, though.

    Nokia N810

*If this is posted in the wrong forum, I do apologize, it seemed fitting @ 4:30AM. Feel free to move it to the appropriate spot* I was wondering if anyone had a Nokia N810 with packet injection working. I am only asking because I am looking to replace my current mobile "PenTest Tool" (Sharp Zaurus). Just curious if anyone had any experience with the N810. Also any thoughts on the device it self are welcome. =D
  9. If I remember right the window will close =/. If not it will show some sort of completion message
  10. Currently I am doing the same as ADM1NX. Wires taped on for now. I also plan on taking apart the charger so I can craft a more permanent solution. I put my multimeter on the battery today though and it read out around 6.7 Volts.... I was wondering if anyone else had thrown a Volt-meter on the battery just to check it. Maybe it's just my battery or even more likely my multimeter. No mAh printed on the battery. I plan on doing some testing this weekend. Either way it was cheaper then AA's all the time =D Kudos to peerlesscahos for the original link and a great find!!!
  11. Ordered mine =D. Anyone know how many mAh it is?
  12. The syntax that I used worked fine, I suppose I could increase the number of threads that it is using. Not knowing the password length would mean there is no reason to change the starting position of the xml file. I assumed that there was nothing out of the ordinary with the character set used for the password, especially considering you said it only took around a minute. I guess I'll let it run and assume you have access to a more powerful computer then I do at this time. *Edit* For grammatical errors *Edit*
  13. I've got about 2 hours of running rarcrack on number 2. Still nothing. I do not know a whole lot about archives. I suppose I am doing something wrong but for reference I have a dual core 2.5ghz cpu 800mhz fsb ( Mobile). I was just wondering if I was going about this wrong by just typing rarcrack --type rar number2.rar
  14. Everything worked great from an upgrade of 1.2 to 2. I did not have the RC1 installed. Note for digininja though, on your site, the install page contains what seems to be a possible typo. You have ipkg install karma-madwifi_1.ipk , but it should read, if I am not mistaken ipkg install jasager_madwifi_1.ipk. At least that is the file you have hosted on your site and also the one that I installed. Not a huge deal, just thought I would mention it.
  15. Thanks, that's exactly what I ended up doing. All up and running now, thanks again! =)
  16. Thanks, Digininja, I've been pulling my hair out over this. I'll try reflashing once I figure out how to do it from my Mac. I used a Windows machine last time that I no longer have access to, but thanks agian!
  17. Ok, so I'm starting to think that the Fon w/ OpenWRT can not be put into failsafe mode. I was wondering if reflashing the Fon would work. I'm thinking that reflashing will not work due to the fact that it does not clear the area where the ssh password is stored, or so I've read. So considering all this, this reset trick that I have seen mentioned many a times but I can not find out how to do it. The trick that flashses the Fon back to the original firmware that shipped on it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks again! *Edit* Just noticed that I happened to post these 12 hours apart exactly. Just a thought, lol. And yes, 12 hours straight of guessing passwords manually, sucks.
  18. Ok, so I set up my Fon like a month ago. I only got to installing OpenWRT. Since then I have completely forgotten the password that I used for root. I have tried putting the Fon in Failsafe mode but to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated.
