Hello Guys, Apologies in advance for the question, as i am a noob with virtualization. I am working on a Disaster Recovery plan, and had some questions, as I am new to ESXi Virtualization.I have several Virtual machines running on my ESXi 6.0 Server, the ESXI OS is installed on the local hard disk, currently running on a raid 1. what would be the best way for me to backup the Hosts that i have running on the virtual machine. Here's an example of what i want to be able to accomplish: I have an ESXI server hosting a virtual windows 2012 machine. A storm hits and the machine is totaled. I want to have some sort of media that i can plug into a different ESXI server and have my windows 2012 server backup. is this possible at all. Thanks in advance for any help!

What cloud storage software would you suggest? I use the dell latitude E7240. I need a cloud storage solution for my data. CloudBacko software also looks ok. What do you think? Any Suggestion?

Whats the best way to back up web based e-mail msgs. Services like Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail offer POP/SMTP servers. IMAP caches the msgs w/out removing the original from the server. I need an all in one utility that can D/L emails, contacts, and attachments. The ideally utility should encrypt the info and integrate seamlessly into apps like Outlook. Cnet offers like a million and one different backup apps for Windows. Is there one that works on Linux and Windows?

Hey everyone, Thoughts on methods to preserving the downloaded modules prior to a firmware update? As most of us have done, the modules installed are to a usb drive attached to the Pineapple, however updating the firmware or resetting will of course remove the menu items installed. Has anyone found a way to alleviate this issue? So far I've thought of simply backing up the :1471 gui page and replacing the html/php file, but I feel that may be somewhat sloppy, especially with any upcoming firmware updates which may give a refreshed look to the gui itself. I personally do not enjoy re-downloading all of the modules, especially since they are already present on my thumb drive, simply to have them appear as installed and re-pinned to the menu bar, so any light or bright ideas are very welcome. Cheers and thanks everyone, great community.
