Conor_M
So I've recently setup dual-boot, to find out TF2 runs quite horrible in Wine. My friend & I were discussing how great it'd be if there was such a piece of software that allowed you to boot a partition virtually. Like Virtualbox (Same as VMWare), but only you'd be booting an entire partition, so I could boot my old Vista partition as it once was, for example. Does such a product exist? dr0p
Afaik, nothing like that exists. You should know that WINE is a lot better at emulating games than it used to be, so just give it some time and it should eventually get to a quite usable state. VMWare can do this but it won't play games, at least with any reasonable speed, the 3D support is currently minimal.

VirtualBox can also nearly do this. I tried booting Ubuntu from the same drive windows was running off... it kind of worked except the kernel got stuck at some point on every boot.
