Deags
I'm looking for a charger for a laptop that will work in the car. This is off the spec's page. AC Adapter: Output: 19V DC, 3.42A, 65W Input: 100~240V AC, 50/60Hz universal http://search.ebay.com.au/search/search.dl...p=34&fsoo=1 which one of those would suit? moonlit
All of them. Well, all of them that aren't manufacturer specific. Providing it has the DC connector that fits your laptop, it just has to kick out 19V @ >3.42A
metatron
The only car charger I could recommend is the one from APC, as the ones you linked to and 98% of them on the market are shit and the fan burns out in a few months of heavy use. The APC model has no fan and will out last your laptop.
Sparda
The alternative is an inverter.
beakmyn
If you're serious about power get a Lind. I've been happy with mine. Works great, even at -15degF An inverter will work but it's inefficient to take 13.8VDC to 115Vpseudosine to you laptop supply which then converts it back to ~15VDC
