badbrein Posted March 4, 2007 Share Posted March 4, 2007 helo hackerz! now phishing is advanced n its upgraded to pharming... pro: u see the url in box of legitimate site as google.com or yahoo.com or hotmail.com or yourbank.com etc. con: you first have to poison dns server imagine that you are victim, attacker sends you mail at name@domain.com now it is something like login into ur bank acc. you go 2 tht page and see url yourbank.com (means the bank with which u've regietered) and you login but the thing behind is that u request yourbank.com URL and it goes that perticular dns server and dns server is cache poisioned so that it redirects url to hacked page but url requested is as it is... ha ha ha! that's gr8.... for more info... When you are phishing gormless users if they think they clicked a link for a certain web site, they will think they are at that web site.
