b0N3z
are you trying to connect to the Management AP that you setup during initial setup with your phone?

b0N3z
How did you do the first setup? On a computer? What kind of device are you using to try to connect to the AP? Edited November 29, 2016 by b0N3z

b0N3z
go to your wifi settings and "forget" the network and retry. If that does not work try to reset the pineapple and start over. hold down the reset button for 7 seconds.
Nikosarous
I reset the WiFi Pineapple and it worked for a while but eventually, I was running into the same problem again is there a more permanent solution

Arrzon
I am having a similar issue. While the Nano is attached to my computer via USB i can connect to it on either my other computer or my phone. When I try to power it up using the battery(fully charged). I can not connect to the management AP. Any recommendations?
stevancw
Same issue here. If I hide open AP and enable the management AP whilst connected over USB everything is fine. If I power cycle the nano then I cannot connect (incorrect password). Resetting or updating the management AP password or changing MAC address of wlan0-1 sometimes fixes it. I can also fix it by setting the configuration to default. In all cases it's necessary to 'forget' the previous connection. I have factory reset the nano and set up via Linux and Mac with no difference. Problem persisted with latest firmware (1.1.3) upgrade. Did anyone work out what is happening?
