falconfox
hello. i just found out about this a few days ago. i can't seem to get pandorajar to store the mp3 files. i assume the mp3 file is supposed to end up at c:pandoramp3 . I am running Windows XP SP2 using Firefox 2.0. Java version 1.5.0_06 . EDIT: I am also running Flash version 9. I must also note that i am running admuncher, which is a popup blocker. I closed admuncher and still pandorajar was not storing mp3 files. i followed the n00b tutorial and i have done just this: 1.) downloaded http://www.wirschell.nl/pandora/pandora.beta.7.4.0.zip 2.) extracted it to c:pandora 3.) ran c:pandorapandora.bat Here is a picture of my settings: this is what the console says while running: localhost connected to server. unable to rip MP3 unable to find file make sure you have Pandora running in a FIRFOX browser localhost connected to server. localhost connected to server. localhost connected to server. unable to retrieve top fans from last.fm: top friends not found localhost connected to server. unable to rip MP3 unable to find file make sure you have Pandora running in a FIRFOX browser localhost connected to server. localhost connected to server. localhost connected to server. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Edit: Running Flash

cooper
You need 8 or lower for PJ 7.4 and down.
tab126
What version of PJ are you running? I got similar messages when I was running old code on weird flash players. This problem seems somewhat unrelated to topic at http://www.hak5.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3968 (mentioned only because you say in that thread that you think they're related). falconfox
Thanks for the replies everyone. When is PJ going to support Flash 9? I really don't feel that downgrading flash to version 8. Is there an alpha or beta of PJ that works with flash 9?
cooper
PJ 7.9 (now at alpha so I wouldn't recommend it for you), Pandora Unleashed and the WebScarab plugin made by JohnnyChimpo all should work with any Flash version that runs the Pandora Flash applet.
