I want to know how to remove device drivers on Windows XP and any other machine dependncies from a ghosted image of a computer, I want to use it on several different computers.

While I haven't used it yet, Microsoft's sysprep tool will do just that.

otherwise what we currently do is have seperate images for each computer type/model.

that is the best solution and does not take as much resources but Norton ghost is useful for over network recovery's if that is a image available over the lan. currently i am studying for a mcse/mcsa and it seems as the sysprep unattended method works best
