maf107ezk0
Hello, I have been trying to open a very important document, that a former employee locked... It is .docx and it is password protected. I tried using a password recovery program, but I am up to a 6-digit password and it is going to take forever... It has been running for 2 weeks now and today it started 6 digits, so it will be arround a year to cover them... Is there a way I can decrypt the file? Or do anything at all just to open it... Thank you very much in advance for your time! Have a very good night! Regards, Konstantin
barry99705
Good luck, it's going to take a very long time.
cooper
Yup. Fat chance of breaking it any time soon. Your best bet is to sue the former employee over this, offering to drop the suit for the password.

Batman
Agreed. If it's intellectual property of the company you can definitely take it to court if the former employee isn't willing to supply you with the password. That's a huge no-no. Also, out of curiosity, what password recovery program are you using?
