ambro Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Hello, I was able to pick up two of these Cisco Omnidirectional dipole antenna's for free: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/antenna/installation/guide/ant1728.html I was curious if anyone could recommend a RP-TNC to SMA adapter or perhaps an alternative method of connecting these to the Mark V pineapple. Thank you in advance for any advise in this area. Quote
Darren Kitchen Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 You may need a custom cable. All I'm seeing are RP-TNC to RP-SMA adapters. Perhaps one of those plus an RP-SMA to SMA will do it. I forget how much impedance each adapter creates but it shouldn't be too bad. Quote
Ftb Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 This is close, you may want to check that site for exactly what you need: http://www.blackbox.com/Store/Detail.aspx/N-Type-Wireless-Adapter-Cable-N-Type-Male-to-RP-SMA-Female-2-ft-0-6-m/CA%C4%82RSPNMA002 Good luck, Bill Quote

Pretty sure this is what you need. http://fieldcomponents.com/SMAM-RG316-RPTNCF-Length.html?gclid=CjgKEAjwtZucBRD77aiiq_v4xnASJABkAg8J74EMB_1Mlxv3TSaV5Jyz4ptsHAZgiVeAiOkr0RSY4_D_BwE Edited May 29, 2014 by barry99705 Quote
