Power the pineapple through USB?

Hi!

I wonder if it's possible to power the Pineapple through the USB port in my computer, instead of using a battery or plugging the powersupply in the wall?

Yes, this is indeed possible!

You require a USB to type M Barrel cable.

The only thing you have to ensure is that you do not starve the WiFi Pineapple MKV of power. Please see this FAQ (Power / Battery Issues) for more details.

Basically it comes down to power. A laptop may not be able to supply enough over USB.

Thanks for your quick answer! How can I check that my pineapple doesn't take damage? I have a macbook pro late 2013.
