IvanAK
I have buy a domain from http://www.domain.com, but i have problem updating my newly given IP address from ISP. So i know that DynDNS have this service but i dont know if it work with different domains, domain that is bought from different service not DynDNS. Example i would like to use DynDNS to update my A record in domain.com. Or if you have any different solution not to go with DynDNS or no-ip or any other services. And if i have to go how should i do it ?
dd3
You could always use dyndns or noip, get a subdomain for your home ip, then forward your domain name to the sub domain from dyndns/noip :-)
Mr-Protocol
dyndns now requires you to login every month for their free service. And you are limited to 2 or 3 DNS of limited selections. If you have had them from before they will carry over though.
hexophrenic
Just create a CNAME on your new domain name and point it to your dynamic dns host name, as mentioned by @dd3.
tom564
I just did the same thing, i bought a domain name from domain.com and pointed the name servers to namecheaps free DNS service as they have a capability for dynamic updates.
