escendus
I didn't get a micro SD with the firmware in my MKV. I don't care, as long as I can get it up and running. I have several extra. Seems like it would be the same process as un-bricking mentioned here: https://wifipineapple.com/?flashing Can I just get confirmation on that? I don't want to brick by unbricking a non-bricked device or something. Thanks! :)
no42
You just have to insert the firmware (Download) (ZIP Download) on a micro-sdcard, with a second file called MD5 that contains the string (without quote) "33f5b7864795b1b316a1f85386e8275f" all you need is these 2x files, insert the sd-card into the pineapple and give it power; and watch the pretty pattern of lights. EDIT: Thanks Seb for correcting me, that you use the actual ZIP file not the binary! Edited December 1, 2013 by midnitesnake
Sebkinne
You just have to insert the firmware (Download) on a micro-sdcard, with a second file called MD5 that contains the string (without quote) "33f5b7864795b1b316a1f85386e8275f" all you need is these 2x files, insert the sd-card into the pineapple and give it power; and watch the pretty pattern of lights. In the future, please use the zip file to download. Extract that on to the root of the SD card and it'll have all nessecary files in place.
