atriix
Hi! I just bought the Mk V and thought that I might use my Mk IV as a regular AP at home. For doing so it would be easier if it were running dd-wrt insted of the customized firmware. I can't seem to find any tutorial on how to do so, could any of you give me a pointer? //atriix
Foxtrot
Why not just run OpenWRT?
atriix
Why not just run OpenWRT? Well, sure I could. But how do I put it on the thing? I know the pinepple runs a custom OpenWRT. But need a litte more peonters since i don't know the lower level magic. EDIT: Btw, i just flashed the 3.0.0 platform if that matters. Mr-Protocol
If you have a UART you can perform a "clean flash" and that will get you a base OpenWRT install, from there you can do what you want. I'm not sure if you upload a .bin for dd-wrt to the pineapple UI if it will play nice, maybe command line though.

Would I be able to do just a? sysupgrade -n /tmp/file.bin
