menormedia
Why is it that when I join a network on WLAN1 it disables and prevents me from making any changes via the GUI? The only way to recover from this is to run the following command in SSH (thanks to Seb): wifi detect > /etc/config/wireless && reboot
thesugarat
My guess is that you are experiencing one of two issues. 1. Your Client Mode tab hasn't been updated. There are updates in the Pineapple Bar. (You'll probably need to connect with wlan1 i.e. Client Mode tab to an Open network for internet access so that you can update via the Pinapple Bar. The issue is with encrypted nets not Open.) 2. Your wlans have been swapped. (known issue Sebkinne mentioned a firmware update they are working on would fix) If I had to guess I'd say it's probably 2 but that command would also work on 1 just for a different reason. There are several threads on both of these issues. https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/30691-my-pineapple-cant-connect-and-doesnt-show-up-as-a-network/?hl=%2Bwlan0+%2Bwlan1
